Mariah and Craig's Wedding

Mariah and Craig were married at the The Old Sugar Mill
(Carvalho Family Winery) in Clarksburg, CA.
In 2000, a portion of the old mill was beautifully restored
into crush facility for local vineyards around the Delta region.
It also holds daily tastings for numerous wineries
and serves as an awesome wedding
ceremony and reception venue.

The unrestored portion of the mill
is a photographers dream!
It has remained virtually untouched since
the the mill closed it's doors in 1996.
There are endless textures and
fun finds everywhere you turn!

Every detail of Mariah and Craig's
wedding came together beautifully.
It was a perfect evening with filled with
wonderful people and many memories!

Here is just a quick preview of the event......

Lindsay & Justin Engagement - Sacramento Engagement Photographer

This super fun couple chose Capital Park and
Old Sacramento for their engagement session.
This gave us tons of awesome locations to choose from!
They even brought a "souvenir" from the fun shops
in Old Sac to wear for a few of their shots!

Thank you to Lindsay and Justin for a great session.
We'll see you soon for the big day in April!

Here is a quick preview of a few of my favorites!

Olivia's 18 Month Session - Sacramento Children Photographer

Olivia's awesome mom and I have been trying to schedule
Olivia's 18 month session for a few weeks now.
We just kept getting rained out!
Finally the sun shined for us and it was a beautiful Super Bowl Sunday!

Olivia and her new pillowcase dress were absolutely adorable!
She is such a very sweet girl and just about as cute as they come!

Here is a quick preview of today's session....

New Lens!

My highly anticipated, well probably just by me, lens arrived today!

So we headed out during a break in the rain to take Jake on a fun walk at
River Bend Park (formally Goethe Park) in Rancho Cordova, CA.
I haven't been to this parkway in years but stumbled upon it
while looking for some fun new locations to shoot.
It has tons of bike and horse trail plus river access,
definitely worth checking out if you've never been or it's been years for you too.

He was one happy Beagle with all the new smells and
jack rabbit trails to sniff out!
